EVM Energía announces expansion and diversification of its business divisions in the continental United States by opening an office in Texas and hiring key employees.



EVM Energía, the leading power generator company in the Mexican Wholesale Electricity Market (MEM), is pleased to announce the expansion of its business in the US market.
The company has opened an office in The Woodlands, Texas, appointing Enrique Ruiz as Vice President of Business Development for the United States.
This newly opened office is the first outside of Mexico and represents an initial step in the search for international markets to expand their installed electricity generation capacity, develop its renewable energy divisions, its natural gas commercialization, logistics and imports of diesel to Mexico.
Ernesto García, Founder and Chief Executive Officer commented:
"Our foray into the United States is a recognition of the great business opportunities that have arisen from the energy reforms enacted by Mexico, of which both economies have benefited from. We want to enhance this bilateral synergy, with our experience in the development of projects that our country is offering us. "
Enrique Ruiz has developed several marketing strategies in leading companies such as Air Liquide and CEMEX, improving their economic growth.
