Edwin's Gallery in Indonesia Offers the Huge Collection of Kinetic Artworks

Jakarta Selatan, Indonesia (November 19, 2017) – Some people in Indonesia have a great love and affection towards artworks. Kinetic Art is not that much popular in this part of the world. But, a different aspect of movement can be found in the creations of Indonesian artists, particularly in their works brought under the category of installations.

Even though Edwin’s Gallery was established in the year 1984 by Edwin Rahardjo, from the early 1990s, the gallery is focusing towards promoting emerging, contemporary and young artists. The gallery found that the interest of the Indonesian artists towards working on different aspects of motion is highly interesting to be studied.

So, with the intention to motivate the upcoming artists, the gallery offers a good collection of inspiring works from Indonesian artists with kinetic art as an important aspect of the artwork. The gallery celebrated its 25th anniversary in the year 2009 and before the 25th year celebration, the gallery had a huge collection of works from more than 200 established artists.
